yet, there is a deleted scene in this set called 'Yoda communes with qui gon', so it may had been recorded after all.

Maybe they recorded it recently specifically for the Blu-Ray... (like they allegedly did for Vader's ROTJ NOOOOOOOOOOO line. )

From what I've read it's the Episode III recording repeated and pitch shifted.
