FSM really isn't working out for us

The archaic format of FSM is what puts me off that place, which is a shame to be honest.

This place ain't to bad laid out really. I could get used to it, if need be.

Jews waited a long time for their own country so I guess we're only the second most harmed group out there.

They'd have to ban a few regulars there to make it appealing to normal people .Some members are the most obnoxious people I've ever encountered online

Thanks Quint. I'm sure the others will follow in time. I don't think most of us will be posting on FSM the whole time. We like our own little corner of the internet.

BTW I do see an ad at the very top that says "Download" and "Play Now" not sure what that's about tub it's not very distracting. I am curious as to if this is forum service is free or whatever.

You would have thought Jack would have "shopped around" more to find a suitable hosting site that wouldn't cost him an arm and a leg every month.

I see Jason has posted something about watching Indiana Jones over on FSM, instead of posting it here. Methinks he'll resist joining us purely because... HE HAS NO POWER HERE! I don't think he could cope with that concept on a potentially permanent basis!

After they decided to put the hammer down on FSM, I thought it more prudent to come here.
Though the possibility of being banned by Koray is rather scary....

I disagree with you a bit there. I love FSM's simplicity. My interest is the conversation itself, not so much all the gadgets surrounding it. To be perfectly honest, I've always felt the ol' JWFAN board was a bit too crowded for my taste. Too many avatars and icons and quotes and jumping rabbits all over the place. However, I think THIS temporary site is more to my liking. It's a little more advanced than FSM (which of course do have its shortcomings here and there), yet not so busy as the old JWFAN board.

Thor prefers a shortened forum with the conversation experience in mind. There's no need for a complete presentation of every smiley, avatar and signature, though he applauds web hosters for releasing them to those who are interested.
