Did you guys go straight to transferring it over to the new server?

I'm not joining you folks at the new board. One month without Jwfan has confirmed what I suspected for years: I can survive without it.

At this rate nobody will be joining anything. I'm kind of getting used to the idea myself.

All I did was locking the threads where rule #1 had been broken. And I asked people not to complain about the delays.

I'm not going to prevent anyone from asking when the site's coming back, or from saying it's taking too long (as you just did in your post). But I find this kind of "discussion" rather pointless, since, as you can imagine, Jason, Andreas and I are the first ones to care about the issue, and we're ready to share ANY little piece of new information the minute we receive it.

Well, I hate to say it (and I hope I'm wrong), but it's looking grimmer than ever...

Your constant state of bordering on hysteria amuses me to no end actually. Let's keep the forum down for few more weeks, I say.

I'd say there's a sense annoyance and concern in my posts with regards to the board, but if you want to be a drama queen and play it up a bit for laughs then go ahead.

I just posted an update to the locked update thread, but I guess this is where we are discussing it not. I think Jack missed a step in the process somewhere and 1&1 still needs more money before they'll restore anything. What the hell.

I have to agree with Jason it seems that there is more money Jack owes than what he lead on. At this rate it doesn't seem like the old board will becoming back. Unless we start it totally from scratch and fresh.

Evidently, 1&1 are colossal fuckups.

I dunno, it seems improbable the whole shutdown was caused because Jack missed a 25$ payment. And why he's need someone else to pay 25$ and cause all these problems until he hands over JWfan to someone else

I just think of FSM as a place were allowed to post as long as we buy the occasional c.d. from them or SAE. I'm not sure why our thread was locked becsuse of some criticism about the boards atmosphere. Does LeHah impose his "laws" on the mods as well too?

Trust me, KM... there are board Nazis out there. There is one forum for a geeky fandom I love that I double posted at (each post referring to two different questions, mind you, and also days apart) and got a BAN WARNING for this. May I also add it was a double post in a thread that I created! LOL. I swear, sometimes board mods make it seem like I'm supposed to do their job for them, otherwise they wave around their wands trying to avada kadavra you. In those kind of forums they should be called The Assassination Squad.

1&1 has to be the most ineptly run company ever, if every Jack is telling us is true (see the most recent update). Crazy.

Ah well, benefit of the doubt and all that.

Maybe this "collection agency" paid the full amount to 1&1 and plans to make you pay them back in small installments with huge interest
